ADAM’S WORLD
AUTISTIC SUPERFRIENDS
“Being Different is Awesome!”
Hi, I’m Gracie Gato, a single mother and proud parent to an amazing autistic child. As a parent, I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be for kids to feel understood and celebrated for their differences. That’s why I created Adam’s World—a children’s animated series that celebrates neurodiversity, friendship, and the incredible power of being unique.
I know how important it is for kids—especially those on the autism spectrum—to see themselves represented in stories. Adam’s World isn’t just about superheroes; it’s about teaching kids (and grown-ups!) that every child has their own strengths and abilities, and those differences should be celebrated.
Thank you for believing in this vision. Let’s bring Adam’s World: Autistic Superfriends to life!
With your support, I hope to:
Bring Adam’s World to Life: Fund high-quality illustrations and professional editing to make this story as vibrant and magical as it deserves to be.
Create Representation That Matters: Create a show that highlights the strengths and talents of autistic kids while tackling themes like friendship, teamwork, and self-acceptance.
Inspire Kids Everywhere: Share Adam’s World with schools, libraries, and families who need a story that uplifts and empowers.

What is adam’s world about?
Adam’s World: Autistic Superfriends is the story of Adam, a bright and curious boy with autism who has an extraordinary gift: he can upload information into his brain just by touching books. Alongside his new friends Sam, a math genius, and Zoe, a time-traveling speedster, Adam learns that being different isn’t a weakness—it’s a superpower. Together, these three kids form the Autistic Superfriends, navigating school, tackling adventures, and proving that their differences make them unstoppable.

EPISODE 1 PILOT SCRIPT
Pilot Episode: Adam’s World – "The Awakening"
Ep 1. S.1.
Run Time: 11 Minutes
OPENING SCENE – NEW ENGLAND MAGIC
(A crisp autumn morning in New Hampshire. Golden leaves swirl through the air as kids rush into Nottingham Elementary. The camera pans across the playground, where a mischievous calico cat, Whiskers, lounges on the monkey bars, watching everything like he’s got a secret.)
WHISKERS (to himself, smirking):
"Ah, another fine day for a nap."
(The school bell rings. Cut to the classroom, where ADAM, a quiet 8-year-old boy with ragged hair and a blue hoodie, sits at his desk. His Super-Duper Tablet rests beside him. As the teacher speaks, Adam lightly touches a book on his desk. A soft glow radiates from his fingers as information uploads directly into his brain. His teacher Ms. Lane teaches a special class for exceptional children)
MS. LANE:
"Alright, class, let’s welcome two new students to our classroom!"
(SAM, a shy boy with glasses, clutches a notebook bursting with equations. ZOE, an energetic girl, taps her sneakers, which flash faintly when she moves.)
ZOE:
"Hey, everyone!" (waving shyly)
MS. LANE:
Sam and Zoe are joining us from Ms. Johnson's classroom. (Dodging paper airplanes from her students)
(Adam watches them, curious. Whiskers slinks in through the open window, hopping onto a bookshelf.)
WHISKERS (whispering, grinning):
"Ooooh, this is gonna be good."
SCENE 2: DISCOVERING SUPERPOWERS
(The class splits into groups. Adam, Sam, and Zoe sit at a round table, given a research project by Ms. Lane.)
MS. LANE:
"Adam, you’ll work with Sam and Zoe today!"
(Ms. Lane places history books in front of them. Adam touches his book—ZAP! His tablet instantly speaks the answer.)
ADAM (Tablet Voice):
"The answer is 1620. Plymouth Colony."
SAM (blinking):
"Whoa! How’d you do that so fast?"
(Sam scribbles down numbers. He flips his notebook to show a complex equation that somehow makes sense only to him.)
SAM:
"I see numbers in everything. They just… fit."
ZOE (grinning):
"Cool, but can you do this?"
(Zoe taps her sneakers and suddenly ZOOMS around the classroom, a blur of color. Papers fly everywhere.)
ZOE:
"Boom! Just ran a lap around the school!"
ADAM (Tablet Voice):
"Superpowers?"
(Zoe and Sam exchange wide-eyed looks. Whiskers lets out an exaggerated yawn from his perch.)
WHISKERS:
"Took you long enough to notice."
(The kids freeze.)
ZOE:
"Wait… did that cat just talk?"
WHISKERS:
"No, I sang. Of course, I talked! Welcome to the real world, kiddos. You’ve got abilities, and you’re about to put ‘em to the test."
SCENE 3: THE SECRET MEETING
(After school, the trio and Whiskers sneak behind the library to their new secret hideout—a storage shed filled with old science fair projects, books, and a dusty chalkboard.)
ZOE:
"So… what else can we do?"
SAM:
"Numbers help me solve things—like equations and patterns no one else sees."
ADAM (Tablet Voice):
"I upload information."
(He touches a globe. ZAP! His eyes flicker as the knowledge pours in.)
ADAM (Tablet Voice):
"Earth’s rotation: 1,037 mph. Diameter: 7,917 miles."
ZOE:
"And I can run so fast I see the future!"
(She pauses, eyes going wide.)
ZOE:
"Wait. If I can outrun time, could I… take us back in time?"
(Sam’s mind races. He flips his notebook and furiously starts calculating.)
SAM:
"If velocity equals distance over time, and time is relative… YES!"
(Whiskers stretches, unimpressed.)
WHISKERS:
"Wanna test it? Try this."
(He flicks his tail, and suddenly a glowing blue portal appears in front of them.)
ZOE:
"Whoa."
(Adam touches the portal. ZAP! His eyes widen.)
ADAM (Tablet Voice, shocked):
"Jurassic Period. 150 million years ago."
WHISKERS (smug):
"Guess where you’re going, kids?"
SCENE 4: TIME-TRAVEL TO THE JURASSIC ERA
(In a flash of light, they land in a prehistoric jungle. Massive ferns stretch overhead. Strange bird-like creatures screech in the distance. A BRACHIOSAURUS grazes peacefully.)
ZOE (pumped):
"Told you I saw dinosaurs!"
*(Adam touches a nearby tree. ZAP!)
ADAM (Tablet Voice):
"Jurassic flora. Extinct for 145 million years."
SAM (amazed):
"We actually did it. We’re in the past."
(Suddenly, a loud ROAR shakes the jungle.)
ZOE (nervous laugh):
"Sooooo… should we maybe start running?"
(A massive T-REX bursts through the trees, its enormous jaws snapping.)
WHISKERS (grooming himself, unimpressed):
"Yep. Time to go."
SCENE 5: ESCAPING THE T-REX
(Zoe grabs Adam and Sam’s hands. Her sneakers glow brightly.)
ZOE:
"Hold on!"
(She ZOOMS forward—everything blurs as time distorts. The T-Rex lunges—SNAP!—but they vanish just in time.)
SCENE 6: BACK IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
(The trio stumbles back into their hideout, collapsing in a heap. Whiskers lands gracefully on a shelf.)
SAM (panting):
"We… just ran from a T-Rex."
ZOE:
"Correction: I ran. You two just screamed."
(Adam, smiling, types on his tablet.)
ADAM (Tablet Voice):
"Superfriends?"
WHISKERS:
"Oh, I like that. The Autistic Superfriends. Rolls right off the tongue."
(The trio laughs. The camera pans up to the New Hampshire night sky, twinkling with stars.)
ZOE:
"So… where do we go next?"
(Cue epic music. FADE OUT.)
